Easter traditions

Fabrege easter egg 1899

Fabregé Easter Egg, 1899, in the form of a trompe l’oeil vase, with flowers of enameled precious metals and gemstones. Fabregé Easter eggs were commissioned from 1885 on by the Russian royal family as commemorative gifts,  and became something of a family tradition.

Sorta like eating chocolate bunnies with wild abandon at my house…

Happy Easter – here’s hoping you enjoy your own Easter traditions with all your loved ones !
