Anyone can do this. It’s the world’s easiest Do- It- Ya- Self statement necklace. No tools. No time. No money required.
I know this because I accidentally did it myself when I was getting ready for the big Prada event last week. I wanted to wear this bracelet, but the clasp was broken. Ugh. So I slipped the bracelet around a simple gold chain and voila ! I got compliments on it all night, as I snickered to myself about how easy and unplanned it was.
Thought I would share it with you along with a couple others for added inspiration.
This is a beaded bracelet I bought in a fancy Scottsdale boutique several years ago, featuring Huichol Indian jewelry. It’s got an art deco look to it that I like; you could wear it with a simple black cord or layered with other necklaces if you’re a more-is-more kinda gal.
Either one of these looks would be an easy way to add your own personal style to the menswear trend we’re seeing for fall. They’re like sparkly little ties for women !
This is a big ol’ earring I bought for a Moroccan-themed charity event a couple years ago. It’s a heavy earring, but perfect for a big statement necklace; I just slid the earring back through one of the links.
